Breakout Group A: Understanding Terminology – with Courtney and Michelle
Framing: You’ll have a chance to delve deeping into the language and terminology of power. This focuses on understanding and avoiding microaggressions. The conversation will create a starting point through 6 common microaggressions, then create a space for you to discuss and process.

Breakout Group B: Exploring Case Studies – with Kate and Iris
Framing: You’ll spend the majority of this time exploring one or two case studies that will help you answer the questions,

Lesson-Planning/ Backward Design Unit planning – with Robin and Jennifer
Framing: You’ll have half the time to delve into a plethora of resources and half the time to collaborate and BEGIN the work of what you will continue outside of this space. The idea is to leave this space with concrete next steps to continue the work/conversation that you start here and a familiarity with where to return for additional resources.
Exploration of resources: Read through 1-3 of the following resources, taking notes or jotting down ideas for what resonates with you and what triggers ideas.
