Location: Smith Middle School in Chapel Hill. Register soon -- only $35 with scholarships available! Email courtney.parker@teachforamerica.org with questions.
REI: Attention alumni of Racial Equity Institute Phase I: if you are looking for a refresher on the 2 day workshop you got at Orientation, sign up for the Nov. 5&6 workshop in Raleigh or the Nov. 12&13 workshop in Chapel Hill. As alumni, it is free for you to return, though a $35 donation is requested to cover the cost of food (breakfast & lunch for two days.) Alumni are welcome to sit in on all or part of the workshop, so feel free to come for one or two days (if you come for only one, the cost of food is $17.50). Make sure to register sooner rather than later as alumni seats are limited! Don't forget: if you are interested in attending a Phase II workshop at some point down the line, organizers recommend attending at least 2-3 Phase I workshops first.
